The traditional homecoming football game is celebrated every year at PTS and students come dressed in blue and gold to show their school spirit. “I think my favorite part of the event was the fan support having all those people cheering us on made the energy so much better and more fun.” Ayo Williams said.

Fantasy football offers fun, competition
The varsity girls volleyball team sits on the sidelines cheering for the JV team that was playing at the time on Oct. 5 during Dig Pink. The annual Dig Pink volleyball game series support and raise money for breast cancer awareness. “It’s one of my favorite games of the year and I love our pink jerseys,” varsity player Kierra Roa said.

Falcons lose annual Battle of the Oar
HARD KNOCK: As the Palmer Trinity Varsity Football team exits the field after the close loss to Ransom Everglades at the Battle of the Oar, a heartbroken Finn Zuccarini makes his way to the sideline with his team mates. Players are on their way to hear words of encouragement from head coach Mark Reese, but after such a bitter loss, it’s difficult to put it into words.

KEEPING THE BLOOD FLOWING: As practice gets started on Wednesday, the football team warms up by getting into a group huddle and doing jumping jacks and other stretches. In order to feel fit to practice for two hours, the football team always ensures that everyone is feeling loose and warmed up.

STAMP SESSION: As senior Parkman Steinhour stamps his finger onto the balloon, his fingerprint becomes visible. “This lab was really cool because you don’t really expect all the crevices and stuff to show but they are actually super noticeable on the balloon,” Steinhour said.

SAY CHEESE: While waiting in line to take their pictures, seniors Ali Garcia and Isa Monzayet practice their smiles with each other. Im almost 18 years old but I want my picture to capture the girl I was 10 years ago, Monzayet said. I always wore bows in my hair or had my hair in pigtails when I was little. I always had the biggest and most innocent smile on my face so I wanted to try and replicate that again.

THE STORY OF A STORYTELLER: Hiaasen speaks to the Middle School about his experiences as a writer. “I always wanted to be a writer, I knew from a very young age I wanted to be a writer, he said in an interview with PTTV. My first ambition was to be a sports writer and cover baseball or something. Ive always liked to sit down and write and create. I was lucky. For some people, it takes a long time to figure out what they want to do but I knew from a very young age and I lucked out and it worked out for me.”
