“I’m really competitive because I was raised to never like losing and I hate putting in 100% but still losing. I work hard for my dad and for myself. It’s so satisfying to see me succeed and it’s the best feeling and it’s just a breath of fresh air. Ever since I started playing competitively that’s been the biggest goal of mine, to succeed because you never want to see yourself fail you always want the best for yourself in anything you do.”

“Teaching history is something I am very passionate about. I love helping my students learn more about history. It is very important for them to learn about the history of and lives of important people.”

“I am very competitive. I feel being competitive is part of the sport. If you’re not competitive, you’re not going to have the urge to want to go faster or skip those people right in front of you. The hardest part is pushing yourself and not letting your mind tell you to stop. The hardest part is telling yourself you can do it. My number one goal is just to try my hardest and to push myself. Last year, I could not even run a mile without stopping. So now that I’m already here, I just feel like I can push to be better and it just keeps me going. I feel like running is a light thing that is really good for you like from right now till when I’m older because it’s just a really good thing to do like, ‘Oh, I’m sad let’s go run’ and it just like kind of like washes you out and you don’t think about all the things that are going on. You just think about running and it kinda like helps you think through.”

“I would tell them to just keep trying again and again. And that it’s not that you’re not really good at painting. It’s just about how much time and effort you put into it.”
